these words were documented in Toki Pona Dictionary, compiled by Sonja Lang. it documents different way toki pona speakers translated english concepts in 2021. the ku suli category of words are words which were deemed frequently used.

most people don't use all of these words, but many people use some of them, and so they're useful to be aware of.

󱥻 kipisi - split, cut, slice, sever; sharp (wan, tu)

󱥼 leko - stairs, square, block, corner, cube (kiwen, supa sewi, tomo, poki)

󱥽 monsuta - fear, dread; monster, predator; threat, danger ((ijo) ni li ken moli/ike)

󱦁 soko - fungus, fungi (kili)

󱦅 lanpan - take, seize, catch, receive, get (jo)

󱦇 misikeke - medicine, medical ((ijo) ni li pona e sijelo mi)

󱥺 oko - eye, ocular, visual (lukin)

󱦀 kijetesantakalu - any animal from the Procyonidae family, such as raccoons, coatis, kinkajous, olingos, ringtails and cacomistles (soweli)

󱦆 n - (indicates thinking, pondering, recognition, agreement, or humming) (a)

󱥿 jasima - reflect, resound, mirror, be on the opposite/polar end of (i can't give you an alternative to jasima because i don't rly get it tbh just like don't use it i won't understand you)

󱦂 meso - midpoint, medium, mediocre; neither one not the other, neither fully is nor isn't (insa, ona li pona ala li ike ala)

these words are not ku suli, but are represented in the UCSUR, a standardization of codepoints within Unicode's private use area. just like the ku suli, not everyone uses these words, but you may encounter these words in the wild.

󱦢 majuna - old, aged, ancient (suli)

󱦣 powe - unreal, false, untrue; pretend; deceive, trick (ike, lon ala)

󱦠 pake - stop, cease, halt; to block the way, to interrupt; to prevent (pini)

󱦡 apeja - guilt, shame, shun, stigma, disgrace; to accuse, to single out, to expose, to dishonor, to embarrass (taso, ike)

many of these words can easily be expressed using pu words only. in parentheses at the end of every definition, i've included some alternatives.
